In the past, when bonds were issued, they had coupons attached which were removed on the applicable date, taken to the bank and cashed in to receive that year's interest. Collage Joy's bonds are 90 year bonds, so the coupons run right up to 2011! Can you imagine buying a 90 year investment these days?

Investors now seldom take delivery of their actual stocks and bonds and certificates are getting harder and harder to find. We are fortunate to have procurred a small inventory of stock certificates, bond certificates and these fabulous 1921 coupons. Use the sheet whole or cut each coupon out.

PLEASE NOTE: Many of these sheets were folded and have one crease running down them. I simply dampened mine, dried it between some books and .... voila! No crease. (Actually, I lied. I dried in in my book press, but you probably don't own one of these 100 pound behemoths, so a couple of books will do.)
