Not so long ago, in Japan, employees were paid their wages in cash, which was inserted into these envelopes. Works for us, as we now have these fabulouse pieces of paper to use in our art.

The manila colour lends itself so well to being aged and the Japanese writing adds an exotic touch. Use them in an art project or decorate them as mail art.
