Detailed Description
10 sheets Microfiche is an amazing technology that lasted a short period of time due to the advent of computers. It was employed by corporations and libraries as a way of condensing material. Over 200 pages could be reduced to one 4 x 5 3/4 piece of acetate, which only had to be inserted into a Microfiche Reader in order to be viewed. Many libraries still have material stored on microfiche. Collage Joy is the fortunate recipient of several boxes of microfiche from a school and a corporation that transferred their records onto computer. Many of the sheets are see-through and add a truly inimitable touch when inserted in altered book windows. I've seen it used as ATC backgrounds and cut into strips that were then woven through an altered book page. I saw it cut into tags that dangled from the spine of a journal and utilised as visor material in a children's space costume. I love the stuff! Of course, I have a thing for grids, so microfiche works for me. LOL Put your creative mind into gear and play around with this unique material.
